The view of the Grand Canal with the vaporettos, water taxis and gondolas passing by are great pictures if you can get a spot. This bridge gets very crowded. There are shops and places to eat on both sides of the bridge but you can get better things off the beaten path. Just wonder the streets you cannot get lost.

Just lovely to stand and watch the various boats and people come and go from the bridge. Very popular spot for people to take pictures. Many shops back behind the main part of the bridge too.

The Rialto Bridge is one of the top touristic places in Venice that one must visit. From the top of the bridge one can see a beautiful view of the Grand Canal with vaporettos, water taxis and gondolas passing by. At times it tends to get rather crowded with people taking photos; so if you are looking for some excellent... More

Really neat bridge that spans The Grand Canal. Can get some wonderful pictures in this location, especially at night when the place lights up!! The only negative was the quality of the shops that are on the bridge and directly over it. Very cheap souvenir shops, I suggest going a few blocks off the bridge toward St. mark's Square to... More

The scenery, age and history of this bridge is incredible. YES, idiots have painted graffiti on the back side. YES, it gets crowded during high season. And yes, it opened in 1591 over 400 years ago. Whilst traveling you make you own memories and observations. The bridge is an amazing icon that has enthralled folks for centuries not to mention... More

Set in a nice area of the grand canal. very busy during the day, not quite so busy at night. nice area to sit have something to eat or drink and take in the ambience. Could do with a little less graffiti on the bridge itself. A review of this site should not be exclusively about the bridge but should... More

This bridge is beautiful and you must definitely see it if you're going to Venice. However, the place is horribly crowded, there isn't even space to take a decent picture. Imagine the people usually in San Marco Square packed into 1/5 of the size, and you will be imagining this bridge and its surrounding area. People have suggested seeing the... More

A unique experience it bridges the Grand canal and is lined with shops for every taste. Another must see. Go on left to the cafe beyond the bridge going away from st marks and enjoy the views and a cheap drink.

OK, it's beautiful to look at. But don't expect much fun. We went midweek, off season, and it was crazy packed. Hang on to your pocketbook and wallet. It feels like a great place to get pick-pocketed. But, do go, take a look and then get out. It's better viewed from afar, either from the water or farther down river.... More

Not much to be said here, it’s packed with tourists and nothing but horrendous tat shops, but you do get a reasonable view down the Grand Canal. If you want my advice, get on a water taxi up and down the Canal. Then can you appreciate the full beauty of the whole construction from the water surface and see why... More
