A visit to the Scrovegni Chapel is an amazing experience. Make sure you get tickets in advance, preferably online. Gioto's work on the chapel is truly magnificent. A true masterpiece that changed the way painting was perceived in the 14th century and inspired later masters!

We went to the movie before, it was short but in English. We learned more about what we would be seeing and made the experience better. If your vision is not great--might conside sitting close to the TV screen in the glass assembly area where you sit before going into the chapel. They show an additional flim on the TV... More

Very beautfiul piece of art, incredible that in 1300 year Giotto made such painting, a must see in Padua. Tickets are very hard to get so better is to book it earlier and if you get your ticket don't miss time.

Before going into the chapel ,which is very tightly controlled, you are given a 10 min video giving the back ground of the history of the chapel ,english sub titles, and close up shots of the frescos by Giotto ,an idea that could be taken up by many other historic sites that provide you with scant information before you enter the... The chapel is compact - probably about an area of 2000 square feet - covered wall to wall and floor to ceiling in the highly colourful works of Giotto. The day I went , a Monday morning , was not too crowded. I bought a ticket for eight euros , and there was a time written on it by hand... More

If you have not studied enough, you can't believe this little Church could be among greatest humans achievements, as to say Giza Pyramids. If you have studied enough to believe so, probably you can’t imagine how necessary it is be inside the Chapel to understand it, no analysis of pictures can give you in any manner the sense of been... Don't miss the galleries above the main floor. You could spend an entire day gawking at the art, which ranges from the 14th to about the 17th centuries.

a definite for all Giotto fans - you do need to book some slots in advance. But its near enough the city to walk out and make a booking.

...one of the great art treasures of Europe. See it if you are at all interested in art. If any one of the panels was in a gallery somewhere it would be promoted as a must-see masterpiece - there are 37 of them, plus the end walls, the ceiling etc. The experience is a bit frustrating, with strictly timed 15...
