Lovely park in centre of Milam with pond, ducks and terrapins. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe which was much cheaper than main street.Take an empty bottle as you can fill up at the outside water dispenser near the entrance,next to the museum.

The garden is really tranquil, gorgeous and virtually empty. The reason is it is restricted to children under 12 "and their tutors" which reveals the antiquated origins of this restriction. My favourite part of Milan as after Rome, Piza, Florence I had city fatigue and needed to spend some time not looking at buildings! A lovely welcome break particularly on a sunny day.
