This place was just wonderful to walk around. It has some work being done so it limits were you are going and looks run down, but overall - look past this and it is a lovely garden to enjoy and even participate in events

Lovely park in centre of Milam with pond, ducks and terrapins. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe which was much cheaper than main street.Take an empty bottle as you can fill up at the outside water dispenser near the entrance,next to the museum.
The garden is really tranquil, gorgeous and virtually empty. The reason is it is restricted to children under 12 "and their tutors" which reveals the antiquated origins of this restriction.
We read the sign at the gate but dismissed it as a bad English translation that was trying to say "children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult". The...

My favourite part of Milan as after Rome, Piza, Florence I had city fatigue and needed to spend some time not looking at buildings! A lovely welcome break particularly on a sunny day.
I absolutely adore this small paradise in the centre of the busy city. There is a small falls with a pond with swans and ducks and sitting by it makes you feel rested.
