Harrods in London or Todd English in New York, Peck in Milano! extravaganza charcuterie and wine department. home made pastas are a must to try as well as the legendary Italian mortadella and the sausages. have also bought their limited edition risotto, however have not tried yet.

Seriously, and I've had a lot of high-end pasta in my day. The spinach ricotta is what I got and it will haunt my dreams for years to come.

Peck looks every bit as good as Harrods but is also probably the most expensive (food) store in Milan. The wine store downstairs is fantastic and the deli and other food stuffs look great. Purchase if money is no object!

Visiting Peck the day after Christmas perhaps meant bad timing; but this is no excuse for the staff to be bored beyond comprehension when purchasing only two rolls of bread which, it turned out, were clearly leftovers from before Christmas. Peck is every foodie's dream store. All of the displays are beautiful and the selection of hams and meats had our mouths watering. The staff is extremely friendly and speak English. Check out the lovingly restored slicers dating from the early 1900's near the meat counters.
