I was lucky enough to attend a concert for Beethoven 9th symphony, amazing acoustics, interiors and atmosphere Talented performers and a brilliant Maestro. I'm not a classical music expert but this was quite an experience.

We wandered around the museum, which was really cool. They had a box open so you could see into the theatre. They also had lots of costumes on view.

The famous Scala Di Milano, it is a must visit, just a few paces from the 'Galleria' just 2/3. Minutes walk from the 'Duomo'

It is La Scala.....and therefore you expect that music will form an integral part of the museum which sadly was not the case. Go for a visit...only if you have the time.

Many reviews of this world-famous opera house mention the opera being performed and the audience's reactions to it. I'm going to focus on the house itself and the experience of being there. (Incidentally, the house was not destroyed during World War 2, although it was badly damaged) On my first visit in 2001, La Scala was looking very dowdy and... More

We arrived to see the museum, and lucky for us - one of the last rehearsals (which opened a few days later) to Giselle ballet was going on. We were allowed to look via glass from one of the booths and it was fascinating! The museum itself is pretty small and it probably means more to people who know about... More

It was thrilling to stand outside and imagine the many exciting operas that have been staged inside.

Get your cheap tickets (I mean, cheap) so that you can at least see the theater inside. You might have to stand if you're on a top balcony if you want to see the stage, but we did not mind doing that for the brilliant ballet we went to see there. Pay attention to the ceiling - superb impression of... More

I recently visited Milan (I am from north of Aberdeen, Scotland) to La Scala Milan to see the ballet ‘Giselle’. Whilst the production itself was of a fairly high standard, I’m afraid I can’t say the same for the seating arrangements within the opera house. We had booked 2 seats (2nd row) in a box – and, although the view... More

It was an interesting visit to the Teatro, but the museum is not breathtaking or anything. Worth a look if you dont have anything more impressive to see
