Navigli district is a really nice, very italian place. I loved the buildings, the people, the gelattos, pasta and the little river in the middle. I dont really think is so turistic, thats why I loved. If you like to buy, you can find interesting things around. Have a nice happy hour in plant of bars, have some nice wine,... More

I was in Milan on the last Sunday of February and the Navigli Flea Market was on. If you like Vintage goods (jewellery, handbags, clothes, other items), I recommend the stroll along the canals. It was snowing the day I went, but nevertheless was a great day and I purchased some items that I wouldn't be able to find back... More

Itt was a little disappointing... Not the Best place in Milan. Dirty place... The first half of the district is fine but if you go further the view is changing

I was recently in the Navigli district for a typical Italian stroll and an open air lunch. The canal was drained and only muddy sludge was exposed. This wasn't very pretty. There are many restaurants and places for ice cream etc. I don't really understand what all the hype is about this place being the place to be.

Ok don't get too excited, it's not THAT good but it's the "cool" place to hang out in Milan. A bit bohemian without the grunge. Take your pic from a massive selection of bars and restaurants. There are some street stalls with funky clothes, shoes and accessories and some cool shops too. Even nice just to walk along the canals... More

Not all Milanese know you can enjoy a boat ride on these channels. Do this right before sunset: bigger channel goes to the west, so you will get really dramatic views.

Loved to walk around the Navigli, lots of cute restaurants and some stores. We got there around 4pm but it becomes alive around 8 pm with all the restaurants offering apperitifs with an all you can eat buffet for around 8 euros ask for the traditional drink, the spritz, great choice.

By chance we looked to see where the restaurant district of Milan is and were directed to this area. Even though cold we walked about and savoured the atmosphere, as well as being in such a different type of area.Quite the area for locals and tourists alike, Well recommended.

I lived in Navigli for few months and really is a wonderful place, normally quite during the day it became a very active and romantic place at the evening… even is so close to centre of Milan (you can walk easily to Duomo in 15 minutes) seems to be in a small town with very nice spot and corners.
