Whilst I'm sure this is a wonderful place to visit. The reality is opening times are very contradictory. We visited on a Wednesday to find path closed and no boats taking tourists. We arrived at the Villa by Bellagio Water Taxi part of their 2.5hrs lake & Villa tour. (must do). Perfect day stunning gardens , beautiful views . Also got to see a wedding taking place, our guide for the house was excellent, a very enjoyable afternoon. Such a pleasure to take in the amazing views. Must See !!

I visited it with family, arrived in the taxi boat (just 10 minutes from the shore, at Lenno) such a beautiful villa, breath taking!! It is a very romantic place as well, and a great one if you want to take beautiful pictures.

We took a water taxi from Lenno and took some marvellous photos of the Villa from the boat. The day was sunny and the water was like a millpond.
