I walked to Boccadasse from Piazza De Ferrara and its 3.6 km. a must see place with a nice view .Peaceful

Wonderful place! Absolutely worth a visit. Just a couple of kilometres from the city centre (nice walk along the seaside) this area is a little fishing village out of time. You can seat on the beach staring at the sea and enjoying a good ice-cream or loose yourself in the narrow streets and stairs between the colorful houses. Very romantic... More

I did not have time to visit Cinque Terre as it was too far from Genoa, so I went to Boccadasse instead. I am glad I went because it didn't disappoint me! When I saw Boccadasse on photos back at home, I was truly stunned. But now in reality, the buildings are very old and there is an odd smell on the so-called beach. Nevertheless the crystal clear water will astonish you. Maybe I have a different view on beaches and relaxation :)

A little bit if the Cinque Terre in Genoa..... It is surrounded by modern boroughs so it's really difficult to let your imagination fly, but it's still a nice place for a short walk and have an ice-cream.

A tiny fishing village very picturesque with its colorful old houses. Makes for excellent photo ops.
