This food tour was wonderful. As a food and travel writer I found my host Andrea to be knowledgeable and very friendly and professional. A wonderful view of the best food in the best region of Italy. One of the highlights of my trip. More

What a fantastic way to start our vacation in Italy. Sara was phenomenal!! We booked this tour months in advance and the anticipation of what we would experience built with each conversation we had about our impending tour. We were not let down in anyway. We highly recommend that anyone with even a slight culinary interest take this tour. You... More

We had the best day today. Spent the morning with Michele, she provided so much information and history of the area and excellent tours of the making of Parmasean Reggiano and Parma hams. Both of these processes really are something to see and incredible all that goes into producing these products, now have ,uch more appreciation for the process and... More

We waited for this day for months. Maybe we would not have a great time...what if it was bad? Not the case. We loved our time with Michelle. We started our day visiting the Parmesan factory. Great tour and great tasting. We then visited a castle for some pictures. Cool place. We then went to tour the Parma Ham plant...WOW... More

Sara, our guide, was beyond excellent. Andrea worked hard to resolve a minor glitch in communication and was always willing to help out. The cooking course was a highlight of our trip and was very educational and hands-on. If you are thinking of booking this tour, don't hesitate.....and try to get Sara as your guide! More

This tour was one of the highlights of our recent family vacation. Our guide Giulia met us at our hotel and we visited a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano cheese producer. It was a very informative visit and after seeing the day's production we went through to the warehouse of aging cheeses. We tasted the cheese and fell in love with it.... More

Great tour and cant recommend this enough!! We did the Food Valley Gourmet Tour back in July and had a blast!! The tour of the parmisan factory was very interestign because you get to see the full production. We did the tour on a Saturday so the parma ham factory wasnt working, but we could still go inside. The lunch... More

We were on the Food Valey Gourmet Tour during our trip to Italy. There were six of us and since we did not have a car we were transported by van. Our driver , Davide, was great and our guide, Sara, was top notch. Her command of the English language was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely, fun filled day. The... More

Very well organized tour. We went to Parma just for this tour and it was everything I expected and more. It is quite expensive but well worth it. The guide and the driver were very kind. The guide had very good knowledge of all the activities of the places we visited. The tasting and lunch at vineyard was very good.... More

We were a little disappointed considering the price my husband and Ipaid (around $300/person since we didnt have our own car). As promised, we were taken to a parmesan reggiano cheese production facility and a facility where the parma di prosciutto is made. However, our guide's English was average at best and she seemed a unfamiliar with the logistics of... More

We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with our tour. Since, even if we wrote privately to you, we didn't have any answers in order to find out who was the guide that day, we can't understand which has been the problem. Probably it has been a last minute reservation in a high season period and... More
