The programme of the Teatro Comunale is very good,I saw a lovely performance of L'Italiana in Algeri by Rossini very well conducted by Paolo Olmi More

We saw a very modern opera 'Jacob Lenz ' surrounded by the baroque decoration of this beautiful theatre. We were in a box on the fourth floor off to one side which made it a bit difficult to see the stage without twisting the neck and back. This theatre is like a fairy tale inside. The little private stalls make you feel like you've travelled back 200 years. A beautiful experience. More

A lovely opera building in Belle Epoque style. Get seats in one of the boxes so that you can see the whole theatre and enjoy an unrivalled people watching experience. The opera is also one of the top ones in Italy so the quality of the music is good. More
