We rented a boat for the day and our captain took us to the Green Grotto. I am a bit puzzled by the poor reviews but I wonder if the reviewers swam through the grotto? We were there in August and got a chance to swim through the grotto....it was beautiful and an great experience. I have been to the...

We went because the Blue Grotta was closed because of the weather. The best part was the boat ride out there. The Green Grotta was more of just a tourist trap. There wasn't much green to see and the stone figures that were underwater were place there in recent years, probably to enhance this blah experience.
After visiting the Blue Grotto, all others are not worth it. Sorry i wasted my time & money. Looking from the outside is as good as it gets
The Green Gratto is simular to the Blue Gratto but much smaller. It is worth the visit if you are passing by but I would not make the trip just to see it
We visited the green grotta on our boat tour with Gianni. We had the whole boat to ourselves and Gianni dropped us off at the entrance to the grotta and we swam through it to where he picked us up on the other side . Magical !
We went around the island on a boat to get the Green Grotta, it was absolutely amazing. Going underneeth the cave was dark and very ristricted as we had to lie down. It really was beautifull to see the light shinning in from outside.
Despite the famous " Blue Cave , the Green Cave was a big surprise for me . Me and my friends loved to swim around , in a perfect boat tour with " Blue Sea Capri "
The green grotto is unbelievable ... and you can swim there. Make sure you bring an underwater camera as the pictures are unbelievable. Don't waste your money on the Blue Grotto.
Visited this green water area as part of the boat ride to Capri. Very tempting water for a swim. Suggest hire a private boat if you want to jump in and swim through the cave.
