We were in Sorrento in Sept. 2011, and happened to pick Fauno for lunch on our first day . We sat down at 3 pm. and left at 10 pm. It was a long, wonderful lunch. The restaurant is right on the Piazza Tasso, and is a prime people watching location. The wait staff ,including Gino and Roberto, were great....

We found ourselves gravitating back to Fauno again and again as a great place to flop down, enjoy a coffee or a granita, and watch the world go by. It's right in the heart of everything and well worth a visit if random world-watching is your thing.

This is a really lovely bar right on the Piazza Tasso. Great to get a front row seat and have drinks overlooking the the buzzy Piazza! Lovely coffees, great wine and tasty free olives & nibbles!

Spent my last night with friends at this restaurnant. Great for people watching in Piazza Tasso. We had Pizza, wine, ice cream and coffees. Free limoncello at the end of the meal. 2 euro service charge but they did say we did not have to pay it.
Very friendly and helpful waiters.

The menu is extensive, lots of pizza lots of pasta but they also do salads and sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and was mighty shocked by the size of it! You can also have any half pizza and half pasta for 12 euros which is good value considering the location in the piazza Tasso.
