Visited this museum, very nice for a morning or afternoon at leisure, lovely italian furniture and art. also greek and roman antiquities you can go through the lemon grove to the bellevedere ( a lovley viewing area) and if you are lucky a lemon picker will give you a beautiful fresh lemon. More

I was really looking forward to visiting this museum. However it was totally closed this week, 2nd to 6th April 2012. There was scaffolding and covers all over the exterior including a huge advertisement for a new supermarket. There were obvious signs of building work going on inside. Tourist information thought that it would reopen after Easter. More

Former mansion up on a hill that overlooks the harbor, is filled with treasures collected by generations of Correale family. They have a wonderful collection of Comedie dell'Arte figurines where one can study antique clothing styles. Here, you can imagine what it would be like to live in a villa overlooking the sea or daydream in the wonderful garden. More

Most people don't seem to get to this corner of Sorrento but they should. Very interesting museum with a garden and great views over the Gulf of Naples. Sometimes there are concerts and Sundays (at least the one we visited) are free! More

We chanced upon this on the walk back to our hotel. Worth spending an hour or so, and the 5 Euro per person entry, to see inside this lovely building and it's treasures. The view from the top floor is glorious. More

We visite the museum on the last day of our holiday after walking past it every day on the way to and from our hotel.
