Compared with other more creative and imaginative structures in this city, North Station is antiquated in functionality and overly decorative in exterior facade.

I did not need a train, just wanted to take a look inside. It is very beautiful (art deco), lots of tableaus, nice lamps et cetera. You would expect steam-trains ready for departure but alas, it's all electric nowadays.

Wonderfully stylish exterior, extremely well-maintained and good to know it's still used. Lovely in the sunshine.

Easy and simple if you take the train, but beautiful outside and inside even if you don't need a train. Worth the visit.

Everything you need in a travel point - a couple of shops to pick up those things you need, café/bar, vending machines and in this case trains. Clear arrivals/departures boards. Long distance trains - you need to be aware that these tickets are not accepted by the electronic gates and you have to wait for the locals to turn up.

Every time I use this station I marvel at the architecture and decor. The facade is lovely and a great backdrop for photos...

Well... it's a train station... The facade is nice but the inside... it's just a train station with a few shops and cafe's.

Traveled to Alicanti from this lovely and clean station. It was easy to forget the time looking at the detail of the old building. So calming inside, you forget about the hustle and bustle outside of the station
