Watching all the details inside and outside, you can spend up than an hour in these former trading premises. Be it wood or stone carved, all details are of impressing individuality! Even if you have to pay a humble entrance fee (free on sundays und public holidays), it's worth every cent!

I am a bit of "collector" of UNESCO sights. I really enjoyed this one. It’s small but perfectly formed! Particularly liked the lovely little garden full of orange trees and then the amazing main hall with stunning twisted columns. Worth a look and for 2 euros entry I didn't begrduge to ensure its ongoing upkeep. Don’t miss the gargoyles all... More

From the outside it looked as it didn´t seem such a great thing. But inside, all the rooms were different, really nice to see. On a regular day you pay one euro to visit it, on sundays it is free. It is more expensive if there is something else to see like an exhibition. The little park inside with lemon... More

Four rooms and a courtyard. A superb main hall with stone columns, marble floor and ornate ceiling. A smaller meeting room with a uniquely decorated ceiling, a small chapel and an arched basement. Thats it. Do not miss it, but go Sunday when the entrance is free.

Wandered through the rain to La Lonja as I'd read lots of recommendations. When we first arrived, it appeared closed but as we walked away, we saw a group of tourists entering through a back door. We entered and paid €2 each to walk around. The architecture is spectacular but with only 4 rooms to walk through, it was all... More

La Lonja de la Seda is the Silk Exchange. Though there's only a small amount to see, this had beatiful architecture, nice courtyard, and don't miss the ceiling of the upstairs room

A seemingly beautifully maintained piece of gothic architecture. In fact the interior is that - but I understand the exterior is a later (19th century) rebuild. Still worth a visit - if only to check out the gargoyles! Not for the faint-hearted! Like most attractions in Valencia, great value at only €2 for a visit. Beautiful orange trees in the... More

The silk trading rooms built in 1492 , awesome and cheap to enter, and free on sunday as are most museums in Valencia. Across the road is the famous Mercat, food markets, but they are closed on sunday. Lots of great and inexpensive little spanish restaurants and cafes nearby, ie. 3 course with a glass of wine for about 12... More
