I like old / ancient things and places and this cathedral has fantastic architecture. I only did a part of the cathedral as there was someone asking for a entrance fee and I was not all that interested doing that with the kids with me. But it sure is a landmark and something to see.

We found it rather crowded at the time of our visit with tour parties so would recommend a visit earlier in the day.

Valencia is a walkable city as it is in a circle with parks at the northern part. There are Roman ruins in the parks. You can also get on the hop on and off bus if you don't have much time. Near the Valencia Cathedral there are also many cafes so you can sit outside and watch the view. Nearby... More

Cathedrals in Spain are spectacular. This one provides a bridge between Muslim and Catholic traditions together. Great photo moment, enjoy the amazing experience of this cathedral.

Visited on a scorchingly hot day thinking it might be a nice cool refuge. We were put off rather by the entry price so had a quick look form the entrance and decided we would cool off with a beer in a local bar! Sorry not a good review

The Cathedral itself is not so amazing but the chaples hide great pieces of art like two Goya paintings, an amazing fresco on the vault of the altar and a golden globet which is supposed to be the holy graal.

Set in a lovely square, a visit not to be missed. The atmosphere is wonderful also there are so many places to sit and have a coffee afterwards and perhaps buy souvenirs at the market

An interesting building externally and internally. Audio guide was rather pedestrian and missed out some key information, e.g. about modern artwork included in one of the side chapels. But worth a few euros to view it all.

In Valencia for one day only with so many beautiful buildings to see and not enough time to do so properly. We only saw the Cathedral from the outside but it looked that it would have been worth a proper look at if only we had the time.
