Very nice and kind park with a lot of treas and places where you can sit or lay down in the shade, if you like. Also near metro and bus stops (also the Hop on Hop off bus). Go and enjoy!

Went running around this beauitful park and it's a terrific spot very close to the center of Madrid and which you could spend many hours enjoying.

An oasis in a big noisy city. I visited this park every day. There are so many areas, fountains, statues and two 'palaces' to see! Lots of kiosks/cafes for a spot of lunch or light refreshments. The Retiro park is huge and lot of nice area to walk, enjoy boating, many performers on the way as you walk, lot of shade, fountains, cycling area, everything a park can provide, kids can run around, families enjoy together. we enjoyed the evening in the park.
