We came here on recommendations from new friends in Valencia as THE place to go. Never pass up a local recommendation! We were not disappointed. The ensemble was spot on, tight great musicians. Singer was fantastic. Saying the dancers were great is a such pale worlds to describe them. They were always emotive, alternateiy soothing, then rhythmic and powerfully explosive.... More

Having spent 24 days leading a group around Spain I have seen wonderful and memorable sights and heard fabulous sounds. A visit to Casa Patas was an end of tour highlight for the group and what a remarkable highlight it was! I last visited about 12 years ago and my memory was of a fabulous show filled with passion and... More

Went to see the flamenco show,at Casa Patas one evening while in Madrid. I have not seen many flamenco shows before but found the show mesmerizing. I made a reservation for the 10:30 show on their website, it was nearly sold out. Cost was about 32 euros each for one and one half hour show. Pricey but worth it. The... More

The first flamenco experience of my life and I am so glad it was this one! Just above an hour and a half long, with a twenty minute break, it was a perfect way to start an evening out. The place was smaller than I had thought, full of people, but it didnt feel like a tourist trap at all.... More

This was my third flamenco show, the first in Madrid and the other in Barcelona and this one really wasn't up to par with the others. I guess if it was your first and only show you definitely would be impressed by the atmosphere, food and music - how could anyone not be when attending a flamenco show in Madrid!... More

The flamenco show is very nice, may be a bit touristy but nice! This is probably the most popular flamenco place in Madrid and there were a lot of Spanish folks in there too in the restaurant section. You can make a reservation via phone from your hotel, although I am not really sure how it works since when we... More

We were fortunate enough to see a performance that included a famous older singer and two "name" dancers (man and a woman). It was mesmerizing, and we'll never forget it. Mostly tourists in the audience, but the performers made the feeling in the songs (whether tragic or comic) compelling.

We would certainly recommend the flamenco -- it was mesmerizing (and I'm not a flamenco guy). We ate dinner before and while the atmosphere was great (not touristy, even though Rick Steve's discovered it), the food and service were mediocre. The artichokes were good but the swordfish was pretty bland. Overpriced and in attentive service. But go for the flamenco.

This place was recommended to us by a friend. The food was very good, enjoyed everything we ordered, and the sangria was excellent! Service was very good...very attentive. The show after dinner was wonderful, we had a singer who made me feel like I was listening to the Gypsy Kings...the flamenco dancers were wonderful...a wonderful evening it was:)
