With a 4 EURO admission ticket (and a 30% discount if bought online) this will give you the best value for the money for Barcelona attractions.
You can easily spent 1/2 day here (even more if you go to the Planetarium shows or specific exhibitions).

Well worth a bit of a trek on the metro.Lots of things to see and do and nearly all of the interactive exhibits worked unlike so many museums these days. There really is something for everyone there whatever your age , plus a good cafe and excellent views.
Found this by chance when rain meant tibidabo was not a great idea . Instead found a great attraction that had the kids enthralled all afternoon, even then only saw a small part, well worth a visit especially on a dull / rainy day.

It's a great place to take your kids. Besides, it's got a great view of the city, spectacular building, nice restaurant with a wonderful terrace.

Great day out for a young family on a limited budget.
It was a hit with my 4 year old daughter and me (Dad) found it fascinating. Mum thought the fish were really quite something too.
We managed to fill a full afternoon and promised to go back.
Before you visit, check the times of the petting zoo access online...

Loved the interesting displays -- so much to see. Did not like that many parents let their kids run around with no supervision. Try to go on a day when kids are in school.
This was quite far out of the city centre and we wanted to combine it with a trip on the cable car but unfortunately it was closed. There was supposed to be a dinosaur exhibition but it really wasn't that amazing but there were some nice little touches and fun stuff fo kids. If you have quite a few days...
