We had A Taste of Spain customize a special package for our honeymoon. Their service was incredibly responsive, very professional, and well-priced. We went to some of the best restaurants in the world, had excellent tours of historical cities, and delicious cooking classes with warm and charming hosts. A Taste of Spain even managed to time our trip perfectly so... More

I cannot recommend this event strongly enough! I took my mother for her 65th birthday and every part of the experience was fantastic. Jaume, the chef, was an extraordinary host and teacher. The market was magnificent and we spent thr day cooking, eating, drinking delicious Spanish wines in a gorgeous penthouse home. If you enjoy food at all, cooking or... More

The entire tour throughout Spain was simply perfect. Every detail was carried out by our guides and Miguel-the owner-with the utmost attention to detail. Every city, including Barcelona , was perfectly executed and thouroughly entertaining . From tours of wineries to cooking classes to fabulous meals always hosted privately with chefs and owners. I can't mark anything down. I would... More

we recently toured spain in the 'ultimate foodie tour of spain' with A TASTE OF SPAIN. this was a small group tour (ours turned out to be 9 participants) that encompassed madrid, san sebastien, and barcelona with stops in bilbao and sitges as well. from the title you can surmise the emphasis was on the food, but we did also... Fast forward through a delectable sampling of the cuisine of the area through the good offices of A Taste of Spain. Traveling through the idyllic landscapes of San Sebastien and Barcelona while stopping to sample the exquisite Iberico ham coupled with a delightful Cava wine from a local vinter was a peak experience for us. As an introductory visit to... More

First, this review is regarding the Tapas Tour offered by a Taste of Spain, not one of their culinary tours. A Taste of Spain offers two types of tapas tasting session. The first is a formal sit-down dinner with a guide and the second is an informal tour, stopping at several tapas bars in the city. Since these tours are... More

A Taste of Spain was superb to work with not only booking our trip but on each step of our journey. Our hotel, Condes de Barcelona was perfectly situated along Paseo de Gracia between Gaudi's La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Our Barcelona culinary exploration began with a tasting menu at Comerc 24. Our second day we met with our wonderful... More

My friend Kate & I will talk about this experience for years to come and will also put to very good use, all that we learnt that day. Juame was very welcoming after picking us up from our motel & then taking us on a tour of La Boqueria Market and surrounds, it was very interesting and so much fun.... More

As a professional chef and restaurant company owner, I was impressed with the agenda and recommendations that Miguel Ullibarri had arranged for our group. My only hesitation with" Taste of Spain" is the non acceptance of the American Express card.

Johma, our host and chef, was awesome! He took us on a tour and shopping through the Boqueria Market for the lunch we would prepare later that day. The selections of produce, hams & seafood was amazing. A short taxi ride to the incredible apartment where we all joined in the cooking and feasting on the foods we had purchased... More
