I had a great guided tour of the premises, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, helping to understand the circumstances and the times when the site was built. A little out of the way but most definitely worth it!

Of all the great buildings in Barcelona, I would say this is one of my favourites. It lies just up the road from La Sagrada Familia, & is no less monumentally eccentric. Actually it's many buildings - part Gothic cathedral, part Teutonic fortress, part sultan's palace, its roofline is a riot of spires, beehive water towers & gaudily tiled domes,...

This is an amazing collection of buildings that Barcelona is doing it's best to preserve and update in order to keep them alive and in use. There is extensive renovation going on so do take the 'hard hat' tour to see the inner workings of the site. You'll get to access the underground tunnel system and wander around in ways...

Loved the detailing on the domes. Definetly worth a look if you have time.

It is a huge set of buildings, that use to be an hospitla and now is in renovation. Is one of the most beautiful palces in BArcelona. You can also see(and walk form there to) the sagrada familia, and if to have a drinkyou want go to "la hispano suiza" where you can see some nice old cars.

The historic buildings are currently being restored so the office is housed in a temporary structure. After a long hike through the property, we found a security guard who directed...

We had a hard time finding where to go in. We took the metro walked up the hill and turned right. You need to turn left and look for the break in the fence to the left after the chapel. There is a small white trailer which house the tour desk. If you go more towards the right you will...

nice view, day and night but that is it, you can enjoy the work and view, maybe some photography, can't see any more there

Currently in the midst of a major renovation, most of the buildings were closed although we could have gone on an escorted tour with hard hats for 10 euros each. We decided to go for a wander on our own and spent an hour or so in the grounds of the hospital which must have been quitre a place in...
