This place was cute but small, a bit of a disappointment. Nice flowers St the entrance but not much other than that. Supermarket not great either.

The market of Our Lady of Africa was built in the 1940s. It was after the civil war, in a period when architects had abandonned modernism to embrace a sort of historicism/regionalism, better adapted to what was then regarded as politically correct. My friend and I got the bus from Los Cristianos to Santa Cruz. We stumbled across this market by accident and spent nearly two hours here.
