We didn't realise this place is on the verge of closure (according to the lady running it she and the animals are moving to the north of the island next month). She only charged us 7 Euros but there were hardly any animals there to see and the cactus garden, which has clearly been lovely and well cared for was... More

The anti-thesis of Loro Parque, this amateur collection of animals is quite simply a hole. Rare creatures like rabbits and pigs kept in the same pen. Terrapins lounging in putrid, stagnant water. Ar first, the 15 euro entrance fee sounded a bit steep, but you are immediately face to face with some of the more exotic birds and lizards. well laid out and you can walk around at your own pace. Take the road from Guava towards Los Cristianos More

A great way to spend two hours. There are several natural habitats to walk though and the animals are very close at hand, so if you don't like lizards and birds, don't go! There is a bus service from the resorts, but we drove there. It was very quiet and peaceful in April. More
