What else can I say to add to the already glowing reviews given by many? It is such a privilege to be invited into someone's home which is also a museum to see the collection and inheritance of the owners. A truly enjoyable experience and Professor Ian Phillips has been collecting glass and crystals for many decades and his knowledge... More

This is a most unusual attraction. It is a private house with a private collection of stained glass and glass exhibits. It was a pleasure to be shown the house and collection by one of the owners. Mr Ian Phillips speaks very passionately about the house and collections whilst at the same time imparting a great deal of history and... More

The owner took us round his collection of glass objects and windows. The house is worth seeing on its own for its style, furniture and paintings. The highlight for me was a window from the Trinity Church in Saltcoats showing Christ with children.

Great place to visit set in a lovely house with interesting exhibits. If you're a glass lover it's a must.

Not the easiest place to find, but persist as you will be well rewarded. Situated at the top end of the 'Larios' area this private museum has very little in the way of government support or funding, but the enthusiasm and knowledge shown by the three owners put it into a class of its own. A nominal €5, €3 if... More

You are escorted through this museum by one of the owners' and his love for fine things is obvious. It is not easy to find. We had a map and still got lost 3 times trying to find it.

From the moment you walk through the imposing doors of the museum you are treated to the personal touch! For a nominal fee you are given the opportunity of viewing beautiful and very individual artefacts brought to life in the medium of their beautiful surroundings of the owner’s home. As you go through the Museum you pass through time and... More

We didn't realise what a fabulous museum this was, tucked away, slightly off the beaten track. We paid our five euros and expected to just wander round, but five euros bought us a unique guided tour by one of the three directors/ owners Ian Phillips, a medical doctor who has a passion for glass. He and his co-directors bought and... More

This is an absolutely brilliant museum. Guided tours are given be the owner in Spanish or English. I every realised glass could be that interesting. It is a wonderfully set out building with glass craft work from all over the world. Each piece seems to have a fascinating story attached. 5 euros very well spent. Well worth a visit, allow... More

We were also taken around the museum by one of the owners, a British gentleman who started collecting glass 40 years ago. I was not/am not a glass enthusiast but visited the museum on the strength of the reviews I had read on trip advisor. Our visit turned into one of the highlights of our trip. The owner's enthusiasm for... More
