The most outstanding part of this church is the modern and abstract stained glass, worth a visit just to see that.

13th century church in Roman temple complex from Constantine times. It is considered to be one of the oldest Gothic churches in Germany. It was quite damaged during the war but rebuilt and reopened in early 1950s as a small basilica. The architecture is very interesting. The church has two and part of it even three levels. Beautiful portals draw...

We were the only people in the church at the time we visited. It was so peaceful and quiet. This is an interesting church given its Greek cross floorplan. Right next door to the Dom so it's very easy to find.

The simplicity of the church makes it a wonderful place to visit and take in the large sun rays that shine through the stained glass like a kaleidoscope. Only a few...

If you like colorful modern stain glass this church has it. Light and airy Gothic. German only flyers and not much info available, but worth a 20 minute walk around. Don't miss the painted columns as you enter.
Closed for all of 2010, this church has been open for more than a year, and it, too, is a sight to see, located adjacent to the Dom. I recommend it.
The stained glass windows that surround you the moment you enter, bathe the elaborate interior in brilliant colours as if it were a polyphonic chant of peace amidst a world in turmoil.
