It is a huge park near the Zoo Station. It goes all the way to the Brandenburg Gate. There are many paths to go on and a big road goes right thru the middle. So if you are worried about getting lost, you can stick near the road. You can hear it from the closest paths. Lots of people jogging,... More

Nice area to walk. We walk here after seeing the Brandenburg Gate. On our way to the Victory Tower. A nice area to sit for a bit.

It was suprisingly easy to slip into the foilage and be in a quiet other green world whilst being a major capital city. I am not a fan of the excessive rights that bikes seem to have in Berlin but even they could be avoided with a little effort. Highly recommend for an hours chill out .The statues etc are... More

Lovely gardens, could have stayed here for days as it is enormous and very inviting. Lovely for long walks, or a laze or picnic in the sun.

Clean and green. Huge open space to chill on a sunny summer day. We took a walk through from the rear of the Hotel Intercontinental and stumbled across a great beer garden in the park by the lake, a great place to get the Berlin buzz.

Excellent views of a very big park in Berlin. There are a number of statues and sights around and it is enjoyable to cycle around and have a picnic in.

As a runner, I always look for interesting and scenic places to run. The Tiergarten is probably the premiere site in Berlin for a great run. Berliners love their parks and this is a great one! Miles of walking trails punctuated by historical monuments. Find your way to the English Tea Room for a delicious lunch or refreshment. Plenty of maps throughout the park will help you stay situated.
