Book your reservation at the restaraunt at least 3-4 weeks in advance and they will ask for your passport info. This is necessary to get you clearance into the building. You will bypass long lines with your reservation but be on time or they will give it away. You can go early and look around the Dom while you wait.... More

I would highly recommend an early start we booked in as soon as it opened and it was well worth it we arrived early before the queue formed so once we went through security etc we found ourselves in a great position to see a stunning dome with views across Berlin unspoilt by hoards of tourists absolutely marvellous

Great view, be sure to pick audio guide with info about the view and building itself. I chose the evening tour which was after sunset. Great view but I could not identify some of the buildings in the dark that were described on the audio guide.

We had booked the terrace restaurant at the top of the building and by doing so avoided the queues. Review of the meal is elsewhere but the visit is a must see and it is free and must be the best for views in Berlin.
