It makes the town, roots it in history. A lot of it is being renovated inside; I wouldn't bother with the tour, which has been reduced to ten minutes. But wander the grounds and marvel at medieval aggression. You can jsut imagine Game of Thrones!

The walk to the castle was nice and the view from the top was great too. I just found the exhibition very basic with no English explanations. The guided tours were only in German which I was going to do but had no idea where the group was meeting! The main exhibitions were closed as well. The walk through the...

A must visit when in Nurnberg, but unfortunately a big part is under construction now. Will look forward to visit when works are over. Best views of the city
We enjoyed the panoramic view of the city of Nuremberg. Actually we walk iside the castle but we dident see inside places and i dont khow if there is anything interesting ,but the view was the point.
If you have a lot of time when you're in nürnberg you should go there.
The view is nice , but not much more to do there.
the entrence to the castle courtyard is free of charge , you can go inside to visit the tower (for a fee) but i didn't do it so i can tell you much...

The views of the city are beautiful from the top, and it was nice to walk through the grounds, but we didn't tour the inside. It was a little on the higher side as far as cost was concern - and when we went inside to inquire, the staff was really rude and unhelpful. We ended up leaving right a...

The views are really good, nice walk up. However, not sure if it would be worth paying to visit other rooms. We went and to be fair they reduced the price to account for construction work. But it was just not clear where we could go or what we could do. Worth a walk up not not paying to go...

The castle is an impressive sight, however some parts were closed during our visit for refurbishment. Such is the luck of the draw I suppose! The site lacks in English signs and explanations for exhibits in quite a lot of areas, which was the main let down, as my German is more than a tad basic!
There was the usual...
