This was a one of a kind experience for my wife and me, we were just awestruck by the beauty of the Partnachklamm Gorge. It was one hell of a adventure what with it raining when we visited the place. But that just added to the thrill. It is in places like this that you see nature in her full... More

It was was cold but seeing the Partnachklamm gorge in the winter was amazing. Make sure you wear appropriate shoes, as you will be walking in the snow the entire time. I called ahead of time to make sure it was open. We plan on going back when it is warmer when all of the snow and icicles have melted.

We were disappointed in not being able to walk and hike the gorge this time round as it was closed due to thawing and rain. However we did take the cable car to the top of Eckbauer and walk back down past Wamberg to the bottom. The church there is beautiful and the scenery magnificent! Would do that hike again... More

The weather was a bit rough with rain and snow and we were instructed to park at the ski jump stadium and walk to the gorge. There are no bathroom facilities there so make use of those at the stadium if necessary. We were glad we had our snow boots on, because there was a lot of snow on the... More

Having been many years ago and being in the area we decided to visit again and chose the perfect day. Snow everywhere and it continued to snow hard all day giving wonderful winter scenes. We parked at the train station and took the bus but if in your car would recommend parking at the Ski jump stadium. Although snowing hard... More

(First off, a note to TripAdvisor: Partnachklamm and Partnach Gorge are the same thing. There is no need for two separate review sections, please combine them.) Now, this is a must see, especially if you like hiking or the outdoors. In wintertime, the waterfalls are frozen and your walking in a mass or ice, all while water is rushing down... More

A lovely walk through this gorge sees water rushing past you and stunning scenery throughout. Afterwards you can continue on a walk which takes you higher into the gorge where you will come across two gueshouses for refreshements. If you don't fancy the walk back down, there is a very smal cable car which operates for a couple of euros!... More

I had a hard time to find the entrance, but I might be alone on that issue. Tip one- bring a jacket thats waterproof Tip two- a flashlight will come in handy. Tip three- good walking shoes. Only thing I would have liked is a better map of the trails. I see on the website this cool bridge and then... More

Nice with kids. Over small walking path between the rocks along the white water. After a 1 1/2 hours of easy walking passing woods a restaurant provides a good reward.
