This place is well worth the visit, this place is awesome! the trails and views of the city is crazy beautiful. where comfortable shoes and bring water and snacks so you can take your time and visit everything. I missed the amphitheater but I will go back and find it. You have to go! its great!

What a wonderful view of Heidelberg! You must do this. And a bit of a workout so you get to lose some calories from all the the eating you are sure to do. Do it at sunset and be delighted.

Cross the Alte Brücke and continue walking straight up the hill, then follow the path along to the left when you get to the top. Great views across town, and you work up a thirst and an appetite, both of which will come in handy.

Do not miss this amazing view, but be warned that it might literally leave you breathless. A lot of up hill walking, but worth every bit of effort, especially if you come up the Schlangenweg side.
