the museum is interesting especially if you have nothing to do. i went there one afternoon and was a bit disappointed that all there was were photos with captions.

I spent some hours here exploring the history of the Resistance through the various exhibits-posters, books, film clips, object, photos, lists, descriptions. It is a detailed and seemingly complete coverage.

This museum is housed in the former nazi head quarters, and the place where hundreds of thousands of Jews were gathered to be sent to their death during w.w.2. They could do so much more with this museum and if they charged more they could generate the funds to do so. Ask for the english guides and the hand held...

we had high hopes for visiting this museum as we had found other WW2 museums in berlin very interesting. this one however was a disappointment. quite a small place which had alot of info boards down dark corridors was about it! it was like they had put pages from a book on the walls. we both found it dull.

I do agree that some of the documents displayed at mid-thigh level are difficult to read. Some are also poorly light, but the low lighting is all part of the effect. The interior design is outstanding and makes you feel your right there. I had a rare opportunity to visit when there were so few visitors that I was alone...

A well-presented, sombre, factual account of a very troubling time in our history. I was truly moved by the presentations, the videos, and the overall rational and level display of war-time footage, first person accounts, and documentation.
