Awesome views especially convenient for those who are neither mountaineers or skiers. Take the whole lift to the top of the mountain and then climb up the stairs to get a breath taking view of the Alps all round you...360 degrees of snow clad peaks!!!

This was a breath taking experience to 3842m. The views were stunning as we climbed but unfortunately the clouds were down at the very top so make sure you go when the sky is blue

The gondola climbs straight up the cliff, which can be uncomfortable for anyone with a fear of heights and it can be crowded, which doesn't help. Once at the top, however, weather permitting, the views are about as spectacular as any mountains anywhere. The real fun for us was to walk down through the system of alpine trails and meadows... At 12,630 feet its half the height of Mt Everest, but probably has twice the views. The scenery is to die for! Yes you can ski off the back along the Vallee Blanc, however, its just worth going up there for the views. The panorama has diagrams backing up all the points, including Mont Rosa, the Matterhorn, and many more.... More

The day I went up was cloudy and snowing. I couldn't see the valley but have on a trip 30 years ago. If you're flexible pick a day with clear weather. The lack of oxygen is an experience itself. The views can be awe inspiring. It is an extremely vertical place. The lift attendant will advise conditions before you buy... More

Going up here was an incredible experience and was one of the most spectacular views i have scene. An unlimited ski pass will get you to the top with no additional charges. Make sure you get here early and get your cabin number. We had to wait about two hours from that point but just chilled at the hotel -... More

Wow! What can I say? The cable car ride was a little scary, but that made the view all the more spectacular. I must say the beauty of the view brought tears to my eyes. Do not go to Chamonix and miss this!

Fantastic views of Mont Blanc from the top of the Aiguille De Midi cable car. Really amazing. Great to go up after a good day's skiing. Lift closes at 4:30pm so you have to get up before in order to have a short walk about and catch the views. We didn't stay too long but there is a cafe if... More
