Unless you're into roman jugs, the two things to see here are the huguenot memorial, to the memory of the pastors imprisoned by the crown in the eighteenth Century, and the prison cell of the man of the iron mask (whoever he was).
I would not recommend this museum , as there are not much to see . You should be spending your time on the island instead of going to this museum .
This small museum housed in the Royal Fort on Sainte Marguerite Island offers interesting information and exhibits about the history of the site.
Great little museum. The 1st half looking at the fort's use as a state prison. There are some huge murals painted on the walls in there, though I must admit they were completely lost on me as I found them completely unrelated to any of the historical background.
