“keeping up with the Jones' in Cannes”

Oh dear! Suffering from a surfeit of Cannes-itis & trying to be one of the beautiful people - be prepared to pay the price to do so

This really was one of the best days not of our holidays but our lives. We rented a small boat from a company called 212 yachts who were very helpful and went off with our skipper exploring the Cannes coast and others. “Very jet set”

Just walked on to terrace at night for drink was greeted with no snobbery. Very glamorous crowd. Saw quite a few people I recognised from London nightlife including some high class escorts! Nice drinks. Pretty female cleaner came in to mens loo to tidy up when was washing hands. Bit weird. Great place to watch all the glitz.

The location is perfect, you wont need car to go to the beach, to shop or dine out. “Expensive”

The thing is this beach is no different at all from all the hundred other neighboring beaches . A few steps to other beaches with same quality or even better might save you a lot of money . Even if you are staying at the Carlton you do not get free access or discounts.

“A bit dated but 5 star all the way”

The hotel rooms are a bit tired, but the overall service makes up for it.you can shower in the afternoon and rest assured that new towels will be waiting for you in the evening. The cleaning staff even pack away the clothes you leave lying around

“super expensive not worth it”

spend a full day there, paid over 300 eur, so posh and full of them self, you cant get too much sun from all the umbrellas and it so packed u feel suffocated on a beach...... watermelon is the best though ;-)

“Great Beach, not so great service.”

I enjoy this beach and find the prices reasonable for Cannes, however, I find more often than not, the service is not one that matches their hotel... The food on the beach so so, if one is hungry, choose carefully. The atmosphere is fun and unpretentious.
