This cathedral has to be viewed by any tourist in Nantes. When we were there it was not crowded and we could view it at out leisure.

Nice architecture - elegant in the inside. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the details. Nearby it is a great parking

As you would expect, impressive. However I am frequently disappointed at the presentation of information or lack of it. Not just here but generally. There seems little imagination or effort applied to providing visitors with interesting information to enable them to make the most of the visit. It's all so dated and sterile and does not do the building justice.

It is quite beautiful and relatively simply decorated inside. But the most interesting thing is the sense if things not being quite 'right'...and you realize, if you stand in the exact middle at the back of the nave, that the whole front (apse) is skewed to the left by maybe 15-20 degrees. They were playing gregorian chants when I was... More

Beautiful church. Dates from the time of Anne de Bretagne. The tomb for her parents is there. Walk up the stairs to see the statuary. Very loving memorial. Note that there is a self-portrait of the artist who created the statues of the four graces. His image in at the back of the head of one of the female statues.

This is a lovely place to visit. Nantes is a very quaint old place and it's worth taking a tour of this cathedral. Nantes isn't huge so you can get around it quite quickly.

Excellent! Lots to see in the Cathedral. I'd make sure I did this place if you are short on time. It has to be the brightest and have the whitest stones of any structure that I've seen so far. The cathedral has been recently renovated and has one of the largest pipe organs.

took the train car tour around the city,30 mins, 15 euro for family of four, only good thing about our trip to Nantes, but no English language on the guide tour so haven't a clue what all the places were that we seen.

A rather average cathedral. Some nice cloisters buts that's really about it. There is little else to do in Nantes as its fairly dull and uninspiring and very run down, and not a city worth bothering with.
