We visited Terra Botanica shortly after it had opened. We were stunned by the sheer magnitude of the place. It's divided into sections dealing with different aspects of plants - like the prehistoric section. Excellent. A combination of a theme park and a botanical garden all rolled into one and no large corporation branding involved!! If we lived closer we would take a a season ticket.

The gardens are fabulous and the attractions such as the walnut treetop ride, the 4D Bamboo express are really good. Something for everone it's not just for gardeners. This is our second visit and we will go again next year.

A simply wonderful place with excellent facilities. The flowers and plants were beautiful and there was plenty to keep the children entertained also. It`s a lovely place to wander around at your own pace. It`s full of interesting facts and a perfect day out. Worth a visit !
