Visited this first on museum pass - a mistake for the silver brigade as it had a lot of steps via spiral stone staircase - too exhauseted to enjoy the views

Old part of Perpignan worth visiting, especially the Palais des Rois and the Chapelle, climb to the top, lovely views over the town

With 162 steep steps up a narrow stone spiral staircase this is not for the faint hearted or the unfit. However, there is a chance to catch your breath at several rooms on the way up and the views from the top are magnificent. You can even see the sea!

It was interesting but not extremely memorable. Definitely a nice thing to do if you are hanging out in Narbonne.
