Some good modern art. Some not so good. After an hr of this I was ready to go. Quite stuffy as lack air circulation. Nice building. Entrance fee was too expensive. 13 euros.
The French Museum of Modern Art on floors 4 and 5 is amazing. Some pieces you love, some leave you frankly bemused but all make you think. Several hours well spent. Using the museum pass was a big plus though as there was a huge queue at the 11 am opening time - both outside and inside at the tills.
This was the last of the three museums that my dad and I visited on our first day to Paris (Bad idea). I walked through the Pompidou like a zombie. very nice well organized place....loved the contemprary art work....alot of wierd amazing stuff...also the activities outside and hanging around was nice.
This is an amazing collection of artworks. So many Picasso's I lost count. Many other well known artists and many very interesting works in the contemporary section.
