We just returned from a Pink Martini concert at the Grand Rex and it was fantastic. Of course we came for the group, but the theater is really something to see and experience: great stage, lighting and best of all, the most comfortable seats I have ever experienced in a concert hall.

If you have children I guess they will find the 45 minute tour quite exciting. I thought it was quite enjoyable but was disappointed not to see the main auditorium. Apparently there is a separate tour that is only available at 10.00. We did experience some clever effects and learned something of the cinema's history. Costs 10 euros.

The back stage tour at the Grand Rex was, along with the night boat ride on the Seine, the highlight of a week in Paris for my teen granddaughter. It was fun, interesting and unique. She loved the participatory parts while I enjoyed the movie history parts. A real treat for teens and adults.

I went to Le Grand Rex to see Noel Gallagher...we were seated at the front row on the balcony right in front of Noel...the sound quality, atmosphere and seating were tremendous and I loved every second of it as did the rest of the crowd judging by the noise we made!! When we first walked in to the venue we... More

Nice venue for concerts - Le Grand Rex is a large theatre/cinema complex in Paris - the concert hall seats 2800 so an intimate venue to see an international band. We were there to see Noel Gallagher and no doubt in the UK we would have been in a much bigger place with many more people, so it was nice... More

Beware this place they will sell you a ticket for a performance at over £100 per seat and when you get to the venue you could find that you are in a comfortable seat and your friend is on a hard flip down seat..if you are booking over the phone be sure to ask to see a seating plan or... More

This huge 1930s cinema is worth a visit just to look at the outside-Art Deco style. Inside you are taken on a trip round the "projection room" , the "sound room" etc and the commentary (available in several different languages) is clear and informative although rather cheesy. Definitely worth a visit if you are at all interested in film and... More
