i love Notre Dame!it is a church you should definitely visit, take lots of photo and wander in the area around it!

i would say the outside is as important as the inside. there are other things i woud do first, but worthwhile

Go early so you can take the climb to the top. Lines are very looong after 11 am. Allow time to enjoy all the art work in the front of the cathedral.

There is nothing new that i can add that hasnt already been said, but you definitely need to see it...a must see while in Paris...

It was so dark in there and the amount of tourists was unbelievable! Everyone was pushing and shoving past each other and you couldnt get one moments peace.... A beautiful cathedral, but would rather go to the Sacre Coeur Basillica or the Saint Sulpice Church

The atmosphere of prayer and worship is maintained here, despite the number of tourists. The cathedral inspires awe of God as well as awe for the building itself.

worth visit. one of the oldest cathedrals, some 850 year old. but it is too crowded. Also there was huge blue wall just infront spoiling its view. From inside also it was slightly dark. could not go on top due to huge queue and long waiting!

Such a treat to celebrate 850 years of this magical church. There was a service on when we visited so bells chiming and folk singing. Just magnificent!

Very beautiful cathedral with an interesting history. Just don't stand and have your photo taken with the gazillion birds flying around. Eugh.
