This cathedral traces it origins back to the 5th century. 30 different French kings came here to be coronated. There is a statue of each of them mounted high in front. The workmanship is stunning, and it's hard to believe what they built with limited tools.

Try to go to the light show; you will not be disappointed. It starts with the design and build of the cathedral then moving thro the changes over the centuries. the colours with all the statues illuninated is quite awe inspiring. For free - definitely worth staying up for.

Worth a stop if you in Reims, the windows are done by Chagall and far more impressive than Notre-Dame in Paris.
