An intriguing castle with 2 towers to visit and fascinating exhibitions. Typically French in layout using the building as a backdrop rather than recreating scenes. Well restored. Lots of spiral staircases to climb! The crypt has fascinating tomb effigies which say much about the roles and status of men and women in the Middle Ages.

Realmente es una visita recomendable, sobre todo la vista desde lo más alto de sus torre. Interesante colección de lápidas medievales. Audoguia con muy buena información. La visita se complementa con una caminata por el casco antiguo, dependiendo de las fechas puede ser agobiante. Procurar ir en las horas de la tarde. Ruta recomendada (en Dinan) la calle que baja...

We simply love Dinan & visit at least 6 times a year
( we do live only 35 minutes away!)
The view from the ramparts is stunning
