It was out of season, but the trips were still running. The comentary was good , the price was good, and the shop was nice. In summer it would have been lovely, but even out of season it was great.

The staff really couldn't have been nicer when I took my Elderly Aunt on the canal trip . She really wanted to explore areas of her hometown , which she never had a chance to see . The staff helped her onto the boat and gave us a prime seat at the front . When my aunts hard hat fell... More

We purchased a family ticket (as a gift) which was used and 2 individual tickets for ourselves, through the LivingSocial site and had booked our visit with the company for Sunday 24th March. Sadly, (as people may remember) that was the week of bad snow with people stuck in drifts and we rang to inform them we were unable to... More

I chanced on this with my two daughters (aged 13 and 10) when visiting the Black Country Living Museum. The tour guide and boat driver, Roy, was excellent. He had a real passion for the tunnels and the limestone mines. He gave us tips on when to get the best photos. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, however, on a cold... More

We were staying at the Crowne Plaza at the NEC (read my review on that one if you dare!). A book in the room advertised this trip so my wife suggested that we divert to here first before returning home. I wasn't so sure (after all, what does she know? ;-) ) I'm really glad that she did. What a... More

We paid the £19.90 cost for an early bird ticket, 2 adults + 3 children,(before 12 in the easter holidays). Journey lasted about 50 mins, there is a lot to see in the tunnels along the trip with a very informative guide. You can get a bit wet but as you would only expect, you get a safety hat provided.... Needed somewhere to go for a few hours, and as we're both canal lovers decided to look out the Dudley Canal Trust. We had a great time here. Took the 45min trip on the trip boat Richard. Had a excellent guide Mark, who really knew his stuff. The trip itself was great, loads of information and even some interactive stuff... More

really enjoyed the the 45 minute trip that felt alot like 20 minutes of a jolly good old ride , The skipper was very friendly and gave us so much insight into the limestone mines and the history of the place, You'd be surprised that weddings take place nowadys inside what used to be the mines of Dudley plus that... It was a lovely setting and a very informed trip. The tunels gave a good insite to days gone by with some surprizes on the way. Would recommend this trip. Peter from lincolnshire.
