Although it has been greatly renovated over the years, it was an amazing castle. It was owned by a succession of five midlevel queens, after being built in 1340. Some wonderful old furniture, including a shark skin covered dressing table. In addition to the castle, there is a wonderful maze on the property and some nice gardens. They also have...

not only did i get to spend a few days with the most wonderful woman in the world away from the hustle and bustle of work but the most perfect place to be was Leeds Castle.
My very own princess loved the place and the staff were out of this world, special mention must go to David (security) as from...

We have visited many times, as once you buy a ticket its valid for a year. Our daughter loves the Knights Realm play area, and the Maze, we nearly always get lost!! The grounds are beautiful, the castle is lovely too, they now do punting boat trips around the moat for a extra fee. Definetly a full day out!
Amazing place. We were very lucky to get amazing sunny weather. You need more then afternoon so we definately go back. Only negative side is high price of the ticket but its basically annual ticket, you can go back. They should have day ticket too... but otherwise, very very beautiful place with lots to do for everyone :)

Upon arrival we took the long drive way up to the hotel part - the views were fantastic. The...

We ate lunch in the restaurant which was lovely, and not too busy - as the tickets and food are expensive, taking a picnic is...

I cannot give enough praise for the help and friendliness of the Leeds Castle staff offered to my party of 4 of us( who included an elderly wheelchair user) from the disabled car park, use of wheelchair, easy access around the castle, provision of lifts, mobility bus around the grounds and even a video to watch to show the bits...

Had a great day at leeds castle, although more of a stately home the grounds and house are good. For an event such as the one we went to it could have done with more toilets.
We visited Leeds castle on a what started as a sunny Bank Holiday Monday. We queued for just under half an hour for tickets but this was pretty much as the place opened. the queue behind us was much longer once we had our tickets. The lady we got ours from failed to offer Gift Aid and forgot to give...
