Staff very friendly, boulder area very small but with easy to hard. Holds quite dirty /slippy.
4 or 5 auto belays but only one on a normal climbing wall. Mostly used for kids routes on boxes etc. And felt very expensive for what it was.

Having read some of the negative reviews on here I was keeping an open mind coming here. I took my daughter and nephew both 12, and my neice who is 14 and autistic. The staff were fantastic at accommodating her needs. They all got a go on several walls and had correct safety gear. My neice got great encouragement without feeling pressured and all 3 had a great time. We paid £10 for each of them which I think is a fair price. I think some of the negative reviews are by more serious or experienced climbers but for kids and learners this place has the right setup.

This is the second time ever to this climbing gym, now I remember why I vowed never to come back after the first time.
Price:
Possibly double what it’s worth. Paid £12.75 during off peak times. This is the most I’ve ever paid for a boulder session. I had done most the routes within an hour. I would MAYBE consider a quick climb at £5-£6.
Wall:
Probably 10-15m of wall space at best in a U shape so space is minimal. A lot of routes overlap and trying to read the route can be confusing.
Routes:
Average to poor. You can clearly tell that there has not been much effort put into complexity and finesse. Routes were mostly boring regardless of grade.
Holds:
Not really much variation of style and especially colour. In such a confined space things need to be clear and varied. However, most of the holds were maintained. Didn’t find a single hold too greasy (probably because nobody goes here).
Grades:
Reasonable. To be honest the funnest climbs were the v1’s & 2’s. Found the v3’s & v4’s mostly soft and not complex.
In reality, this space is only big enough for children or warming up.
The space could utilised with a moon board/endurance board or traverse wall.
If you want to have a decent climb-
Croywall is 30mins on the train
Boulder Brighton is 30 mins by car
Chimera is 45mins-1hr by car
Save yourself the hassle and don’t boulder here.

I visited this centre whilst working away from home and I had some down time to relax. My friend and I both had our own gear and once the staff had satisfied themselves as to our competency, we found out the cost was £12.25 which is the most I've ever had to pay to get into a climbing gym. The climbing area itself is tiny, though admittedly, good quality. For the minuscule size of the bouldering area, there are a lot of interesting well thought out problems. However, as it is so small, only about 3 or 4 people can safely be on the bouldering wall at any one time.
There is 1 autobelay with 3 routes (4 if you only climb the crack) and the rest of walls are a mixture of top and lead routes though we only bouldered so I cannot comment on how good the routes are.
Really my main issue is with how unbelievably small this place is. For how much they charge, it needs to be at LEAST five times bigger. the bouldering area was overcrowded with only 10 people and the main climbing area was starting to look very packed.
Unfortunately they have have a monopoly on climing in the area and are clearly milking it.

Hour and a half with an instructor on ab-seiling, plus some climbing as well. Kept them entertained, great and fun instructor and very good value for money. Would thoroughly recommend it.

I took my daughter and 5 friends for a climbing party. They absolutely loved it. 90 minutes of organised climbing fun. Well supervised by Mat the instructor was excellent. Fun friendly and encouraging. With just the right firmness needed for a group of 9 year olds.
A few of the group had done a little climbing before but most had not. They all rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in. With the help and encouragement from Max they surprised themselves on how well they did. Big thumbs up from the girls. As parents the party was great value for money. We could sit and have a coffee and watch the action. We were made welcome on the floor to watch a bit closer and take photos big thumbs up from us too

A great place, the staff are really helpful and always ready to advise and support. even if, like me, you are terrified of heights. I would not have made it to the top of the "big" wall without their encouragement

This is our third visit to the indoor rock climbing centre. The staff are awesome and very friendly. We took our 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son for a 1 hour taster session. They both loved it and we will be coming back again.

Great centre with interesting range of boulder, top rope and lead routes. I've been climbing here for years now and the facilities have always been well maintained and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The lighting could be better, and it gets pretty warm in the summer, but these are minor gripes and shouldn't put anyone off.
Well worth a visit.
