We actually got lost walking up the wrekin although we thought we had kept on the path for the top. The walk was good though and although we never reached the summit we had an enjoyable time. Follow the track carefully to reach the summit. More

I’ve walked up the Wrekin a few times and it usually takes me within 45 minutes to an hour. It’s a very steep hill to walk up and taking a bottle of water with you would be advisable. Pleasant hill climb - not too taxing. Took about 40mins but well worth it for the views. More

I have climbed the Wrekin throughout my life, but hadn't been for about 8 years until this weekend. It still remains a beautiful walk for all fitnesses. I have been visiting the Wrekin regularly for a few years now and still keep discovering new paths up and round it. It's a stiff climb but worth it for the views from the top. if you go up the main path there is a little cafe part way up selling hot drinks and snacks, but I haven;t seen any... More

Lovely views from the top of the hill you can see for miles. Take some water with you because the hill does take it out on you and it's good to stop to get your breath. Keep to the path as there is a lot of small loose stones and give yourself a good 3 hours to walk up, rest... More
