The scenery cannot be missed. However, I highly recommend a tour for this one. We drove ourselves, and even with GPS (an absolute must for Ireland driving) we had a hard time finding some of the sights. I am sure we missed a lot of the more stunning scenery. More

Ireland has so many uniquely beautiful places and this is one. We spent the day just wandering down side roads until we got to the park. Stunning. More

Stunning scenery. Connemara can be a bit touristy around Spiddal but if you venture further in, the scenery is stunning and the locals are very friendly. Head to the coast to breathe in the sea air. More

Wonderful walk and scenic views are t be had here. The tea room was disappointing as there were few choices and they only took cash. It rained the day I visited but the trails are well maintained and marked. More

If only to climb the steps to the summit of Diamond Hill to get the view of all of Connamara, its well worth the visit. Tea room and toilets. More

The best money I spent in Ireland. Shane is an absolute pleasure, and he takes you to some breathtaking spots. If you want to get away from the city, do this! More

If you're up for the drive, the Connemara area is a great day-trip from Galway. Lots of photo ops - don't miss the "killer sheep!" And be sure to stop and shop at Joyce's - wonderful woolen goods, jewelry, and local photography by the owner. More
