If you're looking for traditional Irish music and dancing look no further. "Trad on the Prom" is a wonderful mix of musical performances, singing, and dancing. All the performers are excellent. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The venue is small and intimate. Book as early as you can and get there early. Doors open at 8:30... More

We were most fortunate to have noticed the road side advertising and be able to get tickets. Best €30 I have ever spent. Professional, well organised and great entertainment - great value for money. Very talented musician, dancers and singers. Great evening!

So enjoyable! So authentic and a great addition to any Ireland holiday. Just a few suggestions - we wished there were risers to see all the dancing better and better air flow.

This performance was a gem in our trip. We only happened across it by accident so we called up and they had tickets. Excellent mixed performance of Irish song and dance. The only improvement that could be made would be to add a couple of the classic Irish balads so people could join in. They do their best to cater... More

This was a wonderful performance by all the musicians and dancers. Highly recommended! We enjoyed every minute of the evening. The dancing was phenomenal. The music was lovely. All the performers are world-class entertainers. There was plenty of opportunity for the audience to clap along or tap their feet along to the music. If you are in Galway, this is... More

I echo all the very positive comments recenty said! We stayed at the Galway Bay Hotel (specifically because Trad on the Prom was there) and enjoyed the entire experience, but THE SHOW was even better than expected!! Superbly talented professionals with energy to burn. The Irish Bagpipe played by Gerard Fahy and the award winning dancers were favourites but there... More

When I first heard about this I thought...yeah, it's Mrs. Donovan and her Irish dance students hopping about a stage to recorded music. I WAS WRONG!! The fiddle player was Mairin Fahy, the featured fiddle player from Riverdance. If you have ever seen Riverdance, Mairin was the featured soloist who took center stage in a pencil spotlight and gave you goose... More

We recently caught the show with the whole family ages 5 - 70. Everyone loved it. I went on the advice of Irish friends who recommended that I skip the gimmicky tourist performances in Dublin to see these top-rate Irish performers. Not only was everyone amazingly talented, but you could tell that they truly enjoyed what they were doing. And... More
