This is a very popular attraction in Dublin and the place was crowded for a Thursday. The lobby and gift shop are very nice and there are a number of places to get a drink in this facility. The tour itself was nice and the guide informative but it was quite short and not that much to look at for... More

The Old Jameson Distillery tour was very enjoyable. It provided a very informative overview of how Jameson came to be and how it was and continues to be made. And at the end, we got to sample some of the product :-)

The video & tour were nice, but most of the tour was of dioramas with mannequins pretending to do hard the hard labor of the time or scaled-down versions of the equipment that is used in the distilling process. The Bushmills distillery in NI & Guinness Storehouse were much more comprehensive and interesting. If you're in the majority of the... More

The guide was fluent in several languages and used them to make everyone comfortable. The tour was short and informative and the tasting was fun. Make sure to "volunteer for the tasting". The gift shop was typical with lots of logo merchandise. All in all, it was interesting and worthwhile .

We went with overseas friends without realizing that this is not a working distillery so we didn't bother to do the tour at €14 per person as our friends wanted, in particular, to experience a working distillery. We had two of the tasting whiskey selections which are €20 each for 4 small glasses of whiskey and personal attention / information... More

I'm not sure how the wait normally is but we came here on St. Paddy's day and waited two hours for a tour. We were lucky because we rushed to make it to the last tour and we made it for the second to last tour. Not long after we bought our tickets, it was sold out. If you use... More

Me and my boyfriend had just gone to the Guinness Storehouse and loved it so decided to go here, We felt that it was done like a childish school trip with very few things to actually see and very touristy interection with the boring guide. The drink was nice but the only good thing about this tour is that it... More

It was a guided tour... the woman who gave the tour was knowledgeable and funny.. it was pretty cool learning about the way the whiskey is made... we volunteered for the whiskey tasting contest and got a little drunk... that was my favorite part of course... it took like an hour ... go early so you have the day free...... I really enjoyed having a look, they really made it a special place to stop. I didn't bother with the tour, settled for a couple whiskey sours and a whiskey taster. Whiskey sours where bang on and it was interesting sampling the range available. Recommend even stopping by for a drink if your not interested in the tour.

Give this trip a go, even if you're not a whiskey lover, you'll learn something interesting & get to taste something nice at the end.
