The walk from the upper lake to the visitor's center is beautiful and the ruins and cemetery are worth seeing.

Small, somewhat out of the way church with pleasant interior and peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the crypt but it seems well worth a look.

It is the third time I visit the church on my annual school trip to Dublin and I wasn't disappointed. The guide does a great job, my ESL students loved him! And the mummies, well, interesting, curious.
A bad thing, no bathroom facilities :-(

We read about this in the Dublin Guide book, and listed it as "one to see". We were not disappointed. The guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and jovial in his presentation. But be aware that going down into the Crypt involves some deep stairs, the corpses were immpresive in how they were so well preserved.

It is interesting to learn a bit more of the irish history by visiting the mummies at St. Michans. The guide is really interesting, and presens the tour in a rather interesting way. He does know a lot about the history of the people there, and does answer all your questions. It is not expensive, when compared to the prices...
